Kids’ fashion for boys by Esprit
Discover, be astounded, learn and experience something new every day – life is amazing and full of variety. And boys’ fashion should be just like this too. Whether it’s stretch jeans, colourful printed t-shirts or casual hoodies. Boys’ fashion needs to feel good and, of course, look good too – but the most important thing is for it to be able to keep up with all of the adventures that boys get into
For discoverers, adventurers and boys who know what they want.
In winter, it can be really difficult to get out of bed. Especially if his little brother is envious of his brilliant school bag – sitting still and having to do homework can be a big change. Wrapped up warm in soft corduroy trousers, lace-up ankle boots and a cool parka, he heads off to school as the first yellow stripe appears on the horizon. In the afternoon, he can’t wait to be finished with his homework – the precious few hours before the sun sets should be spent sledding! Two school friends are already waiting outside. In a water-resistant down jacket with a thick hood and warm long johns under a pair of padded winter trousers, he sleds and plays in the snow until the evening. When he gets home, he warms up with a cup of tea. Spring has arrived – finally everything is green again. It’s no longer dark as he walks to school in his colourful cotton jacket and jeans. The first crocuses are already sticking their heads through the hard ground. By Easter, it’s so sunny that we can eat breakfast outside in the garden. Daring little boys, dressed up smartly in a cool short, now start to look for all the colourful easter eggs and chocolate easter bunnies.
Boys’ fashion must offer something new every day – just like life.
Summer holidays! A week at the seaside with mum, dad and my little brother. The next morning, we head to the beach in our swimwear and sandals – walking hand in hand with my brother in jersey shorts and a printed T-shirt. We spend the whole day jumping into the gently breaking waves, playing in the sand and digging. Of course, a good beach day always includes a large portion of chips and an ice cream late in the afternoon. Tired, suntanned and happy, we take a leisurely stroll back to our little holiday apartment.
Autumn is coming, and there’s no better place to be than in your own garden. In jeans and a quilted bodywarmer over a warm knitted jumper, I help dad in the garden. Everything needs to be ready for winter. On the weekend, we go on long walks in the forest and through the rough fields, warm and comfy in a coated cotton parka over a knitted polo neck jumper – we collect chestnuts, try out daring jumps over the biggest puddles – and a few deers appear from nowhere out of the undergrowth and disappear into the thicket. At home it’s so cosy. We watch the raindrops on the window, cuddled up with mum in jogging bottoms and a soft cotton jumper with a hot chocolate on the sofa – every day is different and wonderful.
